The Mylo is NOT a cellphone, in that it doesn't use the airwawes and protocols of the cellular network.

The Mylo communicates over 802.11b, which means, if you're able to lock onto a wifi hotspot or your home wifi access point, you can use VoIP services like Vonage or Skype as if you're a computer user.
