The contract is for 6 years, but in effect, it is a 1 year deal, as the second year would have Stallworth earning $11 million, and that wont happen.

He'll do great for NE while he is there, but he will be back on the FA market next season.

NOPE its a 6 years contract:

Patriots agreed to terms with WR Donte' Stallworth on a six-year contract. Stallworth will earn $3.6 million in 2007 before a series of bonuses totaling $9.6 million are due in 2008.

Well I think he'll do alright if he can avoid injuries. I mean he caught 38 passes for 725 with five touchdowns in the 12 regular season games. He could do even better with Brady throwing to him. Garcia was a good qb too.His contract is $.33.1 mil over 6 years with a guaranteed 3.6 mil for the 200 season. He'll be cool don't worry about him.

He's overrated and a druggie. They signed him for six years, but he'll probably only last 1 or 2 before they trade him. Tom Brady makes most receivers look good, but I'm not impressed with Stallworth.

I heard six years--$33 million.

Yeah, I think he'll have a good year with the Patriots. He's the solid-not spectacular type that fits so well with the Patriots--they'll give him room to do his stuff, and he's a team player who won't let his ego get in the way of his job.

It depends on who comes in the draft. Brady can't rely on one target alone. He'll be better than last year, but still average. Dallas still has to play him, so I'm not happy about it, even though it's only once this year.

They signed him for up to 4 years I think but they have to pick up options after each year with huge bonsus. They will probably only keep him one year.

I think it is a solid pickup. Brady needs a deep threat and they have not had one in years and years.

Of course he'll do well...Tom Brady finally has his go to guy. Donte is a pretty solid route runner with outstanding deep speed. Although, I'd expect the 2nd year reciever out of Florida (Chad Jackson) to make alot of noise aswell

I think he will be good...Some people think he has injury issues a lot...Time will tell...I think he is signed for 6 years and like 33 M...If he is healthy, he can definitely be Brady's goto receiver...

I've seen this guy play since he was in college. Overrated. Patriots should've spent their money on someone else.
