I won it at the strawberry fest and was soo excited I forgot to ask.

You can take a picture and upload it to a free hosting site like http://www.photobucket.com and post it here.
You can try describing it, but that isn't always the best idea because different types of fish can resemble each other.
You could bring it to a petstore and they should be able to tell you what it is.
You could also call the place you won it from and ask them.

If you're describing, include:
Length of fish, height of fish (ie fat, tall and flat, thin-bodied), fins (dorsal fin? pectoral fins?), colors and markings, eye size / color, behaviour, tail shape (forked, rounded, long and flowy etc)

Show a picture,or a good description !

Take it to s good pet store and ask someone.
Take out some books from your local library and compare the one you have to the pictures..

Take a picture of it and see if anyone on here recognizes it. If it came from a festival/carnival type place it's probably a goldfish, but don't hold me to that.

My money is that it's a comet goldfish, if you are lucky maybe a betta

take it to a vet and they will tell you or rent a book out about fish then look it up.
