Definitely Bret "The Hitman" Hart! I have been a die hard Bret Hart fan since 1988 and he was the reason I became a fan of pro wrestling. Bret "The Hitman" Hart is the greatest pro wrestler EVER and nobody will ever be better than he is/was! Bret "The Hitman" Hart truly is "The Best There Is, The Best There Was, And The Best There Ever Will Be!" I hope that answers your question.

Both great wrestlers but I'll go with Bret Hart. Sting can't compare with the pink and black attack.

If you asked me who has more talent and ring know-how, I would say Hart but I have to give the Stinger his due.
I choose Sting only marignally over Hart because Sting seems to flow with the wrestling business. When wrestling started to become more hardcore, Hart maintained his technical, "no gimmicks required" type of wrestling for which he should be given credit - but Sting adapted into the Crow persona and started attacking people with baseball bats.
Does this make him more skilled? Please check my answer above - the answer is "no." But it does make him more adaptable, and more willing to change to suit the needs of business year to year. Hell, I cannot watch TNA on TV, but I read about his crazy matches with Abyss, Christian Cage, Samoa Joe, and others.
I give them both credit for: helping out younger guys arriving into their organizations. From reports I have read, both guys were more than happy to sit and chat with the younger guys and give them advice when asked.
But I give the edge to Sting because he was more willing to adapt, more willing to be placed on the mid-card, and more willing to do business. Hell, I love Hart too but something tells me that if the Montreal screwjob had never occurred, he still would have told the WWE to stick it over their growing push for the Austins, Rocks, and HHH's of the organization.
I guess the short way to answer is Sting becuase you never know what you'll get when you watch a Sting match - with Hart, you know what to expect, which is great ability. I like when wrestling can be unpredicatable.

I was a fan of sting early in his career but after the whole "Crow" gimmick he kinda lost me, so I'll go with Bret Hart. He was no nonsense rather "heel" or "face".
