God says to love others as He has loved us. However, we are to hate evil itself, not other people. Evil includes Satan.

It is not the wicked the Christian hates - it is the actions of the wicked. Thus the Christian prays for the wicked that they may come to their senses and abandon the evil ways and attain repentance.

In the case of Satan, he is beyond salvation since he has committed the unforgivable sin against the Holy Spirit.

It is with great sadness that there is no recourse but destruction of this once great son of God. Thus it is not his being that is hated; it is the evil incarnate that he manifest that must be hated.

Evil is to God's heavenly and earthly society as cancer is to the human body - it must be gotten rid of.

Jude 22-23 22 Also, continue showing mercy to some that have doubts; 23 save [them] by snatching [them] out of the fire. But continue showing mercy to others, doing so with fear, while YOU hate even the inner garment that has been stained by the flesh.

Blah blah- The Bible and other spiritual works are here and were written with the idea of helping you GROW spiritually while upon this physical plane. God is the perfect harmony we are working toward- the attainment. Satan represents something-like a parable. "He" is all that holds you back from mental, spiritual growth and goodness. If God is pure good then the presence of "Satan" would be nil. God doesn't say don't hate- its the idea that hate ONLY HURTS YOU and slows you down on your path.....

Yes it does.

In ancient Jewish tradition Satan is simply an angel doing the work that God assigned to Satan to do.

The word Satan means challenger. With the idea of Satan challenging us, or tempting if you will. This description sees Satan as the angel who is the embodiment of man's challenges. This idea of Satan works closely with God as an integral part of Gods plan for us. His job is to make choosing good over evil enough of a challenge so that it becomes clear to us that there can be only one meaningful or logical choice.

Contrast this to Christianity, which sees Satan as God's opponent. In Jewish thought, the idea that there exists anything capable of setting itself up as God's opponent would be considered polytheistic or setting up the devil to be an equally powerful polarity to god or a demigod.

Oddly, proof for The Christian satan/devil mythology is supposedly found in the ancient Jewish texts that were borrowed to create the bible. One can’t help but wonder how Christians came up with such a fantastically different interpretation of Gods assistant Satan in their theology.

Other hints about Satan’s role in human relations can be seen if you look at the name Lucifer. It’s meaning in the original tongue translates as Light bearer or light bringer. Essentially the bringer of enlightenment. The temptations of the Satan idea bring all of us eventually into Gods light. Hardly the Evil entity of Christian mythology.

God has not said anything. People have said that God spoke to them. Until you can prove the existence of God, you can't say that he said anything. In any case, you should not hate. Hate only creates more hate. You need not hate anyone that you do not wish to be like. You don't need to be like Satan. But you don't need to hate him. To do what is right you do not need to love or hate anyone or anything.

I find this type of question fascinating. The implications go to prove that Christians lie. They say there is but one god and that god has three aspects, but then they speak of the devil and his legions of demons, one of which is Satan. They believe evil people exist who worship the devil and his demons. Which makes the devil a god also. Thus there are many gods and demons in the Christian faith and it is NOT monotheistic as they would have us believe.

Honestly YES!
But to tell you the truth you shouldn't believe in fantasies.
God is a fantasy and Satan too. Religion is number
one lie of all mankind. I don't believe in religion.
I believe in the living real thing that walks the earth (The Humans). Because its true when you see someone you
can talk, listen, touch, have sex, spend with any person,
living normally with him/her.
You see what I mean? You can't do this with god or satan.
They are NOT REAL! Believe in yourself and others, ok?
GOOD BYE!

Yep! When tempted by Satan, Jesus told him to get behind Him, not, I hate you so therefore split! No, the objective is if you do not inspire hate for hate's sake, Satan cannot connive you to do otherwise.

hey commmon, Satan is not equivalent to God in the realm of bad guys.
the problem is the word, GOD-the almightly, gods - all dieties that work for god (though this definition is not apt)
God is the almightly who good and to oppose it he created bad.
The point is not whether he loves us (the word 'love' should be defined for this), but the truth that satanic entities must exist

Yes. Satan is a part of God and God still loves him. Lucifer's fall from grace was strategic both for God and Lucifer. God needed some one to test the faith of his believers to tempt them into falling. Thus rose Lucifer or in actuality thus fell Lucifer.
You can not have day with out night and you can't have blind faith without temptation.
Lucifer is a part of God and to Hate him would be to fall into temption and thus to fall from grace. But to face Lucifer without Hatred, but love him as God loves him (for Lucifer is a child of God) is to show blind faith in God.
The true name of God is Love - thus to be truly apart of him is to Love All.
