But what if we were to now assume number 2 was an omega-level mutant and the telekinetic was not...

I would say a person who manipulates the wind and can move above the speed of sound. Remember, a telepath has to concentrate to get into the mind of the person they are fighting. The person moving above the speed of sound can irritate them and not allow them to concentrate and get in their minds. It's as simple as that.

that's easy the telepath could reach into the minds of the other two and shut down their ablities or could make them think that they were really fighting that person when they really are not - by the way it sounds like a fight between Jean Grey, Storm and Banshee
