I'm not sure if this is what you are looking for but at the source I have given below is an online tool that you can use to create slide shows from 2 to 10 photos or images using either static or animated images.
You can see an example on the site to see if it's what you want.
You just fill out the blanks and it generates the java-script code for you to insert in your web page. You can also preview your creation before you decide it's finally what you want.

If you have all you do is create the slide show in my pics or whatever file you keep them in then insert the hyperlink into the area of the webpage you want it to be.

Check out Google or the link below. You can make a slideshow movie with Windows Movie Maker. Then Paste the code for your file into your html code for your site.
