I don't think that's necessarily true. Men have lifelong friends, just as women do.

I want to answer this by asking you a question, why is it that most Americans are lucky to have 2 good friends in their lives if they are male or females? Boys are not taught to be friendly they are taught to be competitive and girls are starting to be taught the same things, but people are being watched for purposes of mind and social controls every day so how is it suppose to change if there can be no real trust?

I've never seen any evidence to show gender makes any difference; although male and female might show their emotions in different ways. I have had many frienships come and go over the years, very few of them really last for any length of time.
It has nothing to do with the question, but I'm a white American male married to a Sindhi woman. She's in LA to see her spiritual leader Dada J. P. Vaswani, I guess there are a lot of Sindhis named Vaswani.

What makes you think they are?
Evidence doesn't support this.
Men friends and women friends tend to be different sorts of things.
Men tend to spend time together doing things, or just being together. Women tend to be more verbally inclined and talk more.
But neither is more committed or stronger.
Men feel strongly about their true friendships -- they just don't talk about it is much.
Men and women also tend to choose their friends on different criteria -- on the whole, by and large (though individuals vary much more than the sexes do).
Don't sell men short.
When I see this, I can't help thinking of my oldest brother, and some of the deep friendships he's maintained over decades of time, and many, many changes of all kinds. -- I know, just one example, but still ....
Sorry, but you're just flat out wrong in your assumption.

because we have feelings and emotions far stronger than yours, and we can express them. girls dont have a preconceived notion for how to hang out with each other, we usually dont have that many boundaries and we are nurturing. thats why girl friendships last.

I don't think it's necessarily stronger, but my guy friends do say that they can't fully express themselves with other men.

traditionally females go together more often and do men. Men hanging out are usually thought to be queer.

Who says that they are. Women fall out over all kinds of trivial matters. Men fight and die together.
