All the basic essentials like clothes, toiletries, food and drink and emergency money in case it all goes wrong!! Extra large caravanning wing mirrors, petrol, maps, spare change. If you saw that caravanning episode of Top Gear, you'll find lots of 'what not to do' too! Think Youtube have that particular episode, it's really funny!

Do u mean with your own caravan, or do u mean going to a static caravan site for a short holiday? If its the later, everything is provided - knifes forks, plates. All you need to take is bedding and towels (or you can hire them for a charge). There is always a shop on site that will sell food for cooking, toiletries, milk and disposable BBQ's

Hope that helps

a caravan,
a really under powered car (essential for the traffic jams behind you),
very large wing mirrors (don't worry you don't actually look in them just knock off cyclists),
and enough money to book into a hotel on the second night.

car and a caravan
caravan can be sited somewhere permanent though, so you dont need to drag it there.

the rest is up to you and very dependant on the van.
