Instead of LPN, be a Respiratory Therapist or a X-ray Tech. The hours and the pay are better.
After all, why bother having a farm if you're never there?

I'm a LPN/IV therapy... recently finished BS biology major.... although I can always find work as an LPN... you make more money as an RN ..... Your love for animals though makes me think you should persue Vet. Science field... I did undergrad research on animals primarily genetics.. using various PCR methods.. and have looked into vet science grad. programs... pathology/micro/immunology/... I'm not sure what to do myself... but as an LPN there is always work out there.. but only being 16 and being able to do anything.... saying your love is for animals .. i would go into Vet science of some sorts.. if your in for the money GO RN rather than LPN only takes a little longer.... Saying you want to be an LPN ... makes me think you just wanna hurry up and get a trade...because LPN diploma route is very short.... you can make an average living as a LPN but if your goal is large farm, land, acerage... go RN and make more money with less work.. if you really want to go with your dreams ... go into vet science.... good luck....

Nicole,
You are 16 and have a goal in life. What ever career you choose actually makes no difference.. the real desire is to have a farm and animals. Always keep that goal in mind and you will get there (I did) but it takes hard work and careful management of finances. I wish you the best.
