Yes, my Dear One, my Partner and I have for the last 26 going on 27 years. We have very slim 4mm gold bands (which was all we could afford at the time) and at the 20th Best Beloved asked me if I then wanted a larger ring. I thought about it and couldn't bring myself to part with that first little peice of gold...so there it is still on my left hand. A person uses whichever finger feels best to them.Blessings.

Yes. Where else would we wear it? The ring finger is the same finger for anyone.

Yes. Well I did until I lost it , 4 days after we married!!! (Lesbian marriages are legal in South Africa).
Then I got a tattoo instead. Maybe not traditional but hey, it works for me! (And I havent dropped it once!).

Yeah .....Unless people decided to be nontraditional and choose a different finger, but that can apply to heterosexual relationships also........
