What's your opinion of TV personality New York (made famous from I Love New York & Flavor Of Love)? Do you think she's really like that in real life or it's all an act? Do you love her or hate her?

I think that she is really like that. Just too dramatic. Personally she is just like her mother and anybody of them who wants to be with her they can already see what she is going to look like and act like in the next 10 years. A situation full of sadness. I feel bad for the person who ends up with her.

Personally I'm not fond of her. Neither am I fond of "Flava Flav" 'er whatever his ridiculous name is. I loved and still love Nikki Alexander (AKA Hoopz). She was the most down to earth female on that show as were some others but when you witness those grown women acting like Preppy High School Snobs, it wasn't that REAL to me. I do admit that the show was interesting and it did have it's moments but in my opinion when you throw yourself on National Television to find, or as these girls do it, fight to get your man/woman not just the nails and fists but with the mouth and mind, it's just disgusting. When you're on those shows it's not like if he or she is not "the one" it's all good and hunky dunky. In the process of figuring out that he/she isn't the one, you might humiliate, embarrass and ultimately send the wrong message about who you are to the world. Love, to me, isn't worth all that. But if it's what you want to do then go ahead. Who knows, you might end up finding that special someone. I'd just think about the long term consequences and outcomes before you take that risk.
New York did what she had to do and in the end she lost and won. Just remember that becoming famous and getting your own show through harsh actions and grudges, doesn't mean that everyone will love you. And when that picture of yourself with the nasty bed head and the acne cream still caked on your face, appears on the front page of US Weekly, you'll know that thousands of readers will be laughing at you for being stupid enough to have the paparazzi and the world wanting to see you're off camera "ugliness".
It's a big and mean decision to take but I'm not stopping anyone from learning the hard way.

I thinks she's a little over the top, but it makes for good tv. I think it's more of an act than not, but if she's making a name for herself by being loud and everything else she is, then that's her business...she is supposed to be looking for love...a tv show isnt the best way to do it.

I LOVE NEW YORK!!! YES SHE IS OVER THE TOP, YES SHE IS CRAZY, AND YES SHE IS A DIVA BUT I THINK SHE IS GREAT. I LOVED HER ON FLAV'S SHOW AND I'M SO HAPPY SHE GOT A SHOW OF HER OWN. GO NEW YORK!!!
