Philosophy is a labor of love.
I often find a particular philosophical conversation abstractly rewarding, thus enticing.
The logical reason that I advocate philosophy is that it’s the most conducive forum for exchanging views about life, (IE. it tolerates merging the physical, mental, spiritual and emotional aspects).

It makes everything better from romancing to dancing, if it's existential meltdown for the good Folk that live downtown or a crisis in faith to explaining opinion in the meeting place. Yep, philosophizing is the best and better at it than all the rest is that Oscar winning rabbit who acquired the habit of wondering why when he'd say with a sigh,"What's up doc?", No matter where I go I always remember He taught me everything I know!

Philosophy is like math, some people like math and they become accountants, analysts. Some people like to argue and they become litigators, some lie and are lazy, they become politicians.... and so on.
Phi is not hard at all, you don't have to think hard. Phi is based on your knowledge to create thoughts and ideas and argue with them; it is more like a thought process rather than knowledge.
BTW, everything you do you takes an effort whether your are a lawyer, doctor, designer, secretary, janitor.... etc.

Philosophy is concerned with these basic questions: What is real? How do I determine what is real? What is good? How should I relate with other humans? And what is beauty?
It is freeing to be able to answer all these questions rationally. If you don't care, you end up answering them by sacrificing your life some way.

Philosophy presages all knowledge. At the basis of all endeavor there is a philosophy. If it is not well thought out, it becomes a belief, but it is still your guide to learning.

Philosophy gives you the opportunity to question and evaluate your thoughts, ideas and beliefs. It allows you to define and redefine yourself every time you engage in it. It also allows you to challenge your mind to come up with answers to your own questions about life, religion, politics and more and allows you to share those thoughts. In sharing our thoughts we learn a lot about ourselves and others.
