My best friend is gonna be turning 17 and i dont know what to get her, She is very girly, Loves Ariel from the little mermaid, anything sparkley, and abercrombie...just wondering if there were any really cool personal stuff i could get for her, thanks --Cj

A few ideas that I loved back in the day:
1- Make her a "locker survival kit" for school-- throw in funky, cute pens and notepads, fun lip gloss, gum, tampons, a mirror, etc. Put it all in a funky hat box or basket
2. Get her a "make your own lip gloss" kit.
3. Take her to get her nails done
4. If she has an iPod, get her a prepaid gift card for iTunes and put it inside a little wallet or purse from Abercrombie...

That's cool I'm a tinkerbell fan ;0) Go out and try to find a bunch of stickers and like personal staionary with Ariel on it. You don't have to go all out on your friend. You know she really likes it if she writes you notes on the paper and decorates her folders with the stickers, etc.
I'm getting ready to turn 17 as well and if my friend just got me a bunch of tinkerbell stickers and things it would make my day just to know that someone... other than my parents thought of my birthday.

You could get a really kewl make up bag and fill it with girlie bits and pieces. LIke lip glosses in funky tubes and a little diamonte mirror, a funky brush with cute design on etc...
Maybe get her a little mermaid beach towel - they are great for any age! Im in my twenties and have a tinkerbell one!

well if your willing to buy anythin from ambercrombie then i guess your willing to buy her anything.... well i think you should go down to like claires or Icing, or some store like that, and buy her a sparkley purse, and you can buy her some smell good perfume, something with areil on it and a movie or cd she likes and wants, in the purse, i think that would be a really cool present.... bye hope this helps you out :o)

A girlfriend of mine did a project for her boyfriend - she made a shadowbox from wood (or rather, she bought it), then she filled it with pictures and momentoes that really meant something to him (car keys for his car, a mini tennis racket which he loves). Then she put a clock in it. He leaves it on his nighttable and thinks his one-of-a-kind clock is the best. Also, when he's away at college, it reminds him that he has friends, family, and loved ones who are thinking of him.
