My girlfriend JUST had this done last week at Brake Team in Nevada and it cost her $600. If you can do the work yourself you can save about $150 in labor.

If the rotors are black, it shows that the brakes have been heavily overheated. as quickly as overheated, the only restoration is to replace them -- pads and rotors. Do you brake alongside with your left foot? Do you relax your left foot on the smash pedal? Do you tow heavy a lot? Do you do a good number of employing in mountainous areas? Do you do a good number of city employing and brake difficult on the final minute? Any of the above could make a contribution to brakes overheating. $675.00 sounds approximately spectacular at a broking. you have the skill to do slightly extra useful at an independant shop -- yet no longer at between the brake shop chains. BTW, only using fact the brakes nonetheless end the automobile would not advise that they are ok. Brakes tend to become worse slowly and you in no way be conscious the replace in pedal attempt over the years because it is so sluggish.

Probably about $120 for both sets of pads and all four rotors if you do it yourself.
If you want to take it to a shop - um, call them? I don't think anyone here is going to say will charge X dollars.

Dig deep my friend, the rotors alone will probably be about $400. and then add the brake job on top of that.

It is probably just the front rotors, so I would say $200 at Midas.

Your better off calling a shop and asking them what they charge. Each shop has different hourly charges for labor and such, you'll get a better answer from them than from us.
