If the female is pregnant, why would you need to breed them? It seems that they already figured it out.

Tetras are not live bearers. They are egg-layers. So your females are not pregnant, they are egg-laden. It's not too difficult to breed the tetras it's just a little more work to raise the fry.(baby fish)
First to breed them, You'll need tank that is somewhat heavily planted. Fine leafed plants work best. Raise the temp to about 75-78 F and get that pH down to about 6.0 to 6.5. You will see them swimming and chasing through the plants. After a couple of passes you after a day or two, they have probably laid and fertilized the eggs(they are hard to see and very small) I would remove the adults at this point to keep them from eating the eggs and the fry when they hatch out in about 10-12 days. About two days after the fry have hatched they will have absorbed their yolk-sac and will be searching for solid food. You can feed them any on the yolk-based baby fish foods or you can hatch baby brine shrimp for them to feed on. Keep the tank clean and the babies so you don't lose too many(losing a few is natural )Good Luck and have fun.

No no, don't remove the female, because she isn't pregnant, she is gravid (has eggs). Tetras lay eggs, and after the female lays them, the male must fertilize them.
You should separate the pair (if you can recognize it) into a different tank, as you will need to keep the eggs separate from the parents, or the parents will eat them.
You can use a spawning mop or some java moss for them to lay on.
When you remove the parents, do so gently, because it skirt tetras can upset the eggs when they tear around the tank to get away from the net.
The eggs will be whitish. The fry will be tiny, feed them liquid egg layer fry foods.

Seperate the female from the males by putting her in a different tank. After she finish having the babies you will need to put her bac with the male, or otherwise she will eat her own babies. Keep the babies in a different tank until they are grown.
