Japan's Economic Growth For Q4 Revised To Annualized 5.5%

(RTTNews) - Monday, Japan's economic growth estimate for the fourth quarter of 2006
in real terms was revised to an annualized 5.5% from the previous estimate of 4.8%, according to a Cabinet Office report. The growth for the October-to-December quarter, measured in terms of GDP, was revised to 1.3% from the previous 1.2%.

Analysts expected an annualized growth of 5.1% in the December 2006 quarter. Quarter on quarter growth estimated by analysts was 1.3%.
