If you were a braindead moron I would recommend not hooking it up to the internet. Total security right there.

You can try Norton Anti virus 2006 or 2007 with Norton Anticipate, it is a pretty complete package with it's own firewall, etc. All you have to do is buy it and load the discs in, and as a general rule, just say yes to everything it recommends you do (since you are an admitted "brain-dead").

From there on in, it needs nothing from you except it may ask a few permissions to update, in which case you say OK.

I use Zone Alarm Pro. It is a good firewall and anti virus software. I've been using it for the past 4 yrs and dint have any problem since then ofcourse you need to be careful what you are opening on your PC.
