You could likely find another job at higher pay. Depending on your experience level, you should probably be looking to earn 25-50% more.

I'm a 29 year old Architectural designer with an associates degree in Computer aided design and drafting (applied sciences) and I make 18/hr (in one of the lowest paying states) with full benefits and a retirement plan
...........So yeah, it sounds like I hear banjos playing.

Eng. Tech with a BS and only $16.02/hour? Yes, you're being screwed. Shop around for a new employer with someting new to add to your skillset, more money, benefits, something.

I am not that up on pay scales, but yes i think you are being shafted ~ a cleaner in England can be paid on average £7 per hour!

Didn't you know the pay before you accepted the job? You are only getting ....ed if you were deceived in some way. Other then that you are the one responsible for accepting the position, you could have said "no thanks."

Depends on your experience. I'm 41, making over $20/hr, but with twenty years of experience in construction. I think your OK, but look around

Well, depends. Where did you get your degree. When you mean Engineering Tech, what discipline are we talking about. Also, how long have you been in this position and when did you graduate?
