why do people only choose to see bad actions done by somebody over good things he has done?

why is that?why do we forget the good deeds that person had made? Example: George W Bush (president of usa)

Ah yes .. " the good is oft interred with their bones..." and all that. And you're right about Bush. Just yesterday, I heard him attempt to utter a whole sentence on Latin America. Realizing it wasn't going to happen, he simply shut up and waved. THAT was a good deed.
