they complain if the heat is too high. They complain if I close my doors too loudly. Everything I do seems to be 'just awful' and they don't tell me, they tell the landlord... what do I do if they complain when the baby is born? I am not transfering tension on my baby for crying... I am not moving.. I love this place and location.. plus moving takes money that I need for baby right now. They can complain.. but they can't do much as far as I understand, i can just call the landlord tenant board and say that babies have right to make noise, just like I have a right to close my porch doors at a regualr noise level... Right???

omg tell them to shove it. And explain to the landlord that u can do what u want...if u dont make alot of noise and it doesnt sound liek ur doing so.... i have horrible a downstairs neighbor, she complains alot, and i never think twice about it, i pay rent here just as much as she does, and if she gets upset about the littlest things, i tell her to move, and you might wanna do the same, anyways just dont feel bad at all and try to ignore it.......live ur life :)

Sounds like you have some jerks for neighbors. Talk to your landlord and tell him about your concerns. I'm sure he's annoyed by them making complaints on normal, everyday noises. Is there another apartment in the building you can move to? If all else fails, just go about your life and realize that these people are miserable. Smile and be happy to them. It'll just annoy them even more.

Good luck with the new baby :)

dont stress yourself out! my landlord recieved letter (3) stating that my dogs were noisy and trashing up the yard and my kids were wild and screaming all the time. my landlord knew first hand my place was not a wreck (i rent a home). he knew my dogs were in kennels and my kids had a right to play loud during the day! at the time we thought it was one of my neighbors. i did keep the dogs inside (in their kennels) for the night and i also reminded the kids to keep it down a bit when they got to noisy. btw over time all three neighbors became friends of mine. slowly i mentioned the letters and noone claimed the responsibility. AND every single one of them has alteast two dogs and two kids! so i thought it was odd that a letter was sent. just this past month we found out it was my ex's new wife. lol go figure. so dont stress over complaints. it can only effect you if it's against the law. and a loud baby is NOT agaisnt the law lol

You will really just have to learn to be more quiet. Your neighbours have the right not to hear a screaming baby. Is there a way you can postpone having your child? I suppose an abortion will be out of the question. That would be a perfect solution. Maybe give you more time to come up with a better idea at least.

you are right!
When one lives in an apartment you know that there are other people too...
So let them complain...
Once the baby is born you can focus on your newborn and forget about them...a baby is allowed to cry!!!!
Congrats on your pregnancy!
