Would Hillary still tolerate Bill's lies, deception and betrayal or would she have kicked him to the curb by now? Is she standing by her man because Dem's are more "open minded, forgiving and accepting" or is she using him for his money making abiltiy to increase her war chest? As a woman, this situation is concerning and confusing...she tolerates too much...so what does that say about her to other countries and world leaders should she become the next elected President of the Untied States of America?

Serioulsy, why does she tolerate a man who so blatantly and obviously has NO respect for her? Would she not have MORE followers if she took a stand with him and not longer tolerated his actions?

You've said it best! She tolorated him to gain politically so what else will she tolerate at the disadvantage of our country to get what she wants? She's dangerous, and anyone who can't figure this out needs to start thinking about it.

I don't know what being Republican or Democrat has to do with whether or not you stay with cheating spouse. People have affairs and still manage to stay married all the time in our society. I don't understand because cheating is the ultimate betrayal in marriage and I would never tolerate it and don't understand how anyone else could. Either way I don't think she stays with him based on any idea that Dems are more open minded. The Clintons have always struck me as a typical power couple and I suspect this probably drives their marriage. However, this is only an assumption. I don't know the Clintons and Hillary may stay with Bill because she honestly loves him. The only person who could really answer your question is Hillary herself.

I don't think so. I think some people have drawn a superficial line between republicans and democrats. I believe some have lost sight that being a republican or democrat doesn't make you who you are. That's the problem with titles these days, people take them to litterally. In the end we are all just PEOPLE. We are not just republican or democrat, or whatever title you decide to slap onto something.

I believe that we are all individuals and that we do things by our own reasoning. She chose to stay with Bill, and she has her own reasons for doing that and I don't believe that those reasons are decided by whether a persons party is represented donkey or elephant.

I don't know what that will say about her to other countries. It may say that she stayed with her husband and worked out her marriage through hardships that her husband caused, and that it is a compassionate and admirable effort. It may also say that she is weak minded and took her husbands crap, I think it all depends on the countries leader and what he/she thinks as a person.

Should she be president? I don't know, I haven't really paid attention to her ideas of late. I'd have to study up more. Whatever the case may be, come election time I'll be ready to make an informed decision and I'll vote for the best PERSON to win the race, not the party.

Yes she would!! This might be a shocker hold on the the hat!! Republicans divorce as well as democrats. Republicans as well as democrats have stayed in marriages after their spouses have cheated. Amazing isn't it!!
Actual some say she stood married for political power, other say Bill married her for her family name and for political reasons too. It might be a marriage of convenience on both their parts. Or it might be that she made a commitment for better or worse until death do them part and she is keeping her vow she made.
If it's because of the last one then she would make a damn great president because when she takes an oath to uphold and defend the constitution then she is going to do it.
There are two sides to every coin and only Hilary knows the real answer.

Despite Bill's failures as a husband, Hillary has decided that it wasn't enough to give up on marriage, and not to throw it away like a broken toy, unlike millions of Americans who do so.

Yes, she's probably quite furious with him. Rightfully so. However, a marriage is a partnership of more than just sex. What sort of note would it say to America? For one, it'd say "I stood by Bill even through his philandering, what excuse do you have for divorce?"

Sure, she's using his money making ability. That's part of politics, and he's as aware of it as anyone. He's helping her every step of the way, so it doesn't seem like he has a problem with it. Probably believes her views are in line enough with his that her being President is the next best thing to a third term for himself.

Why is the Clinton's marriage any business of yours? Why do you care if Hillary "kicked him to the curb" or not?

Why are Repubs so obsessed with this?

Your presumption that Repubs are less tolerant of infidelity is not supported any actual information, other than their own supposed "values" and professions of virtue.

Look at Newt Gingrich, Rudy Giuliani, Henry Hyde, Ted Haggard..

If the Clinton's were Republicans they would have never been elected in the first place. But Hillary stays with Bill because of her political ambition and that's the only reason.

Republicans probably get divorced more often than Democrats -- the divorce rate is higher in red states than blue. (and ultra-liberal Massachusetts has the lowest divorce rate in the nation.)

So, yes, Hilary and Bill would be more likely to be divorced if they were Republicans.

If the Clintons were Republicans, the Republican party and conservatives in general would never had made a big deal out of Monica Lewinsky

I thought the "Party of Morals" didn't condone divorce?.. the fact is.. you will find a reason to dislike her ... just because you want to dislike her... just as people will find a reason to like her... just because they want to like her...

that's just it.. if she took a stand she would have been shunned as immoral for having a divorce.. it's a lose lose situation for her because what people actually don't like is that she is a Clinton.. whether she is with Bill or not is just an excuse... and even a name change wouldn't change that in their minds... but don't think she is weak.. she made Bill pay I'm sure... she doesn't come off as the type to do something she doesn't want to do.. so she is with Bill because she wants to be.. for whatever reason.
