We've tried everything, and they're mostly little tiny ones, but they're driving us crazy. The place is clean and well taken care of, but no matter what we try, we can't seem to get rid of them in the kitchen and bathroom. Moving is not an option right now.

Since you have an apt and not a house... not only you but your neighbors must do your exterminating AT THE SAME TIME... otherwise they will just go to the next apt until the poison disapates and then they will return. Since you seem to have mostly 'little' ones, I suspect that your neighbors are spraying so they come to your place to escape. I don't know where u live, but some landlords are REQUIRED by law to fumigate on a regular basis. you may want to contact your landlord of the problem. if it's his responsibility, and he doens't comply, then you can contact the health dept and report him.

This was an answer I had given in a previous post.

The advice that we got from an ex-exterminator is that the store foggers don't work. Not for very long or if you are heavily populated. We had a rental place that was disgusting with them. We bought a garden sprayer and mixed up a product called 'cypress' and sprayed 'heavily' every 3-4 days.( purchased from a hardware store) I looked up some info on the web about cockroaches- and could NOT believe it! ONE female lives up to 6 months and can produce 1400 + offspring in that timeframe! after she mates- she eats the male. so more often than not- anything you see is probably a female able to produce more. And needs to killed! A flyswatter gets the ones who try to run! Also sprinkle boric acid in ALL cracks and crevices. I also put moth balls in closed cabinets and closets. another interesting fact is that the egg sack can still survive and hatch out even if the female dies! We used a shop vac with a hepa filter-type bag to pick up the dead. then of course dispose of IMMEDIATLY- away from the house! The roaches will feed off the dead ones if you leave them for any lenghth of time. Of course ALL food, crumbs, garbage etc MUST be cleaned up at ALL times or you are fighting a losing battle! I wiped the counters off with bleach and then sprinkled the boric acid around. don't spray the boric acid with the liquid as it will form a 'paste' and be harder to clean up. This process took up almost 3 weeks to be totatlly bug free- with an empty home. Also we used a Non-toxic 'plant' oil spray to use at ramdom. This process is like trying to get rid of lice. you need to keep on it ALL the time and continuously! And keep everything washed and clean. As for the dampness- there is a product called 'damp-rid' that is little packets you can put under your sinks, in the basement, etc. which collects moisture and when it is 'full'- toss it and replace. I hope this info helps.

You can't really. You can set traps and set off bug bombs but because it's an apartment they have more places to hide and go elsewhere within the building. Which means that, though you may have gotten rid of them for awhile they will likely come back. The whole building would have to be fumugated really to get rid of them entirely.

The job of getting rid of cockroaches is too big for you. You can take it upon yourself, to call Terminix or another local exterminator & they'll take care of the problem for you. They will use a spray & a powder, that is very effective. They can set you up with periodic visits to spray periodically. Your landlord really needs to call an exterminator & have the whole building sprayed & powdered on a regular basis.

You need to treat the entire building
talk to landlord. They need to treat, and then come back The roaches have eggs so they need to do 2 treatments because the pesticides dont kill the eggs. You can kill them in your unit but unless you treat all they will be back.

Boric acid, it is very effective when used properly for killing cockroaches and most other insects. You can also get a house lizard, they are natural enemies and will eat them.

You have to bomb and use combat gel. That really works also you have to use Boric acid.
