Are you asking how many ways can 60 sofas be divided into 9 rooms? This is sort of hard to understand the question.

Take each 7 sofas and put them in 7 rooms. And you covered 49 sofas. Remaining will be 11 sofas and you put 5 in 1 room and another 6 in another room. Totally you covered 9 rooms and 60 sofas are put and thus getting the answer as odd number. Best of Luck.
