Yes. There was only one season of the original '70s series, and they reached Earth at the end of it. However they then went on to have a really terrible second series called Galactica 1980, where it was revealed that they had actually arrived in *present-day* Earth. The story revolved around some completely different characters, including a bunch of hyper-intelligent children, who had to hide on Earth while trying to protect it from the Cylons. Luckily only 10 episodes were shown.

In the recent remake, they haven't (yet) arrived on Earth. Time will tell if they make it.

was poorly done, but highly amusing in a cr*p sort of way lol

They arrived at Earth, only to find we were living in the 1980's and were primitive compared to them, and of no help what so ever against the Cylons.

Lets hope the current series does it a lot better.
