That is a tough question. Hard to choose. But I would have to go with Gutenberg. The printing press I say changed human history more than any other invention. It brought writing and knowledge to the masses.

actually i don't have any idea about this but if we're go'n to look at the past history of the world i should say the past history of HITLER.if you can read the story about HITLER you can see how he able to stand as a leader. He stand in his own belief, hunger of power and revenge in his heart. With that history maybe or lot of people learn a lot from that.or we can't say that maybe some of the present leaders or incoming leaders of whatever country will follow someday Hitlers footstep.knock on wood that that thing will not go'n to happen again.i didn't say i admire him this can be a lesson in each and everyone of us that anger and hatred in our NEVER EVER WIN.

PEACE!!!!!MIKE

Ceasar Augustus.....he ruled for 41 years and crteated the largest empire the world has seen ......He also embarked on the most ambitious rebuilding projects that any one ruller has even done. Because of him, ancient rome is responsbile for preserving learning of other significant ancient cultures that would have otherwise been lost to us. When they conquered other pple's they adopted what they did well and in many cases, improved upon it. As a result we have modern sanitation systems, architectural development etc....... Augustus truly set the stage for the world we live in today......in the last years of his reign, right before his death, when asked which one of his accomplishments he was most proud of, he is credited to have said ......."I found Rome a city of brick and left it a city of marble".....

Rasputin. His ability to quietly pull the strings by himself is amazing. I'm not saying that I agree with some of the stuff he did, but its an interesting study.
