I would get a different seat for your bike. That's what I had to do, I got a gel seat. They are not as eye appealing, but they sure do keep your bum from getting sore.

Iv got a cover for my seat which has like a gel in it which is really nice to sit on. Make journey so much nicer. Try bike shops

I love knowing that you are so fond of riding. It is a great mental image I get of you as you go up and down in reaction to each bump you come across on your ride. Put a pillow under it.

Buy the cycling shorts that have the padding...that's what it is for....to prevent the soreness on long treks.
