The show surface ended with a suspence packed episode. and i was expecting MORE!! but what happen???

Surface (originally titled Fathom) is a science fiction television series that premiered on NBC on September 19, 2005. The program aired fifteen episodes (its full first season) until February 6, 2006, before going on hiatus due to the coverage of the 2006 Winter Olympics and awaiting word on whether it would be renewed for a second season. On May 15, 2006, NBC officially announced the series' cancellation, despite average ratings, leaving the outcome of the plot as a cliffhanger ending.
I liked that show as well. Of all the sci fi stuff that debuted around that time like Threshold and Invasion...Surface got my attention. Guess it will just have to join other brilliant but cancelled shows like Brimstone and Prey. And so it goes.

As usual, some suit in NYC decided to do something without really checking to see if people liked it. I thought it was a great show and didn't miss it.
