In one Star Trek: The Next Generation show, the little girl on the volcanic planet said "Is there anyone out there?". Her name was Serginkco. It is a lovely episode. Data was the main character and they had to waltz around the Prime Directive.

Actually it is funny you say this, a friend of mine and I were talking about the reality of life not too long ago and whether or not we actually make our own realities....something similar to the matrix, I find this fascinating yet possibly untrue, but who knows???? The question is still out there.......lol
The world is what you make of it. So, in essence yes we are all out there, mentally or even physically.
