My husband and I want to move about an hour and a half south of where we are. Can anyone give me input/ideas/advice about him finding a new job, and us buying a house? He is an autobody painter; been in the business for 12 years. Thanks so much.

I would highly suggest finding the job and then plan the move.
Call the local paper that services that area and check the job listings. If he wants to stay in his field, get a phone book for that area and have him send a resume to all the businesses in the area in that specific field.

As far as buying a house, that may be a bit harder if you are moving and changing jobs.
Sometimes the length of time that you have been at one job is a plus and by moving may not be to your advantage as far as loans go.
Check the Internet for homes available in the area .. www.myrealtor.com is a good site. Maybe there is something there that you can afford a good down payment and the loan would be easy ..

Good Luck!
