I have been given Yasmin from my doctor, i have just started takeing them last week.
Can you tell me all about it, i have heard all kinds about how you can loose 10lbs and how it has no side affects.
Has any girls taken this pill, if so please let me know how it has affected you?

I was on Yasmin; it was the final hormonal birth control method I used because essentially it was the straw that broke the camels back – one of the side effects not mentioned with this pill is that it can trigger off IBS.
I had IBS-D for months, which was painful and generally not very nice, because it wasn't one of the mentioned side effects the doctors did not think to take me off the pill, it was only through my own research I discovered Yasmin to be the cause of the problem.
Of course it has side effects just the same as any other hormonal birth control method or pill, it effects your whole body and side effects can vary greatly from person to person, of course as with any other hormonal method it also suppresses the menstrual cycle that can have various effects in and of itself.

I have done a search on Yasmin it says it gives a feel good factor.So you should be feeling fit & ready to go.

Hi - be careful - I was on this pill for a short time and gave me an awful upset tummy!

Its a great pill. but i never lost any weight with it. it did however help with my acne and regulate my monthly period.
