My boss called me yesterday and said they were thinking of "laying off" a few people. Guess that was a hint that I'd better not miss any more work, huh?

Yes, it is called "presentism (sp?)." I got sick from a co-worker and had to stay out two days (I have over 100 hours PTO) because we got a new manager.

yes, they accept nothing less than a doctor pulling us from work here, it's very tough to be off sick, please feel better soon ♥
