Find the lowest common denominator. It is 60.
For 11/12, multiply by 5/5 ---> 55/60
For 1/15, multiply by 4/4------> 4/60
55/60 - 4/60 = 51/60

must have common denominators so, 11/12 becomes 55/60 (i took the top and bottom and times by 5) and 1/15 becomes 4/60 (i took the top and bottom times by 5) so, your answer is 55/60-4/60 which is 51/60
51/60

.....this should probably be ur school homework...owh well
1st = change the denominator into the same value
2nd = change the numerator with the one u get by multiplying the denominator (example = if 2/3 - 5/6 = 4/6 -5/6)
3rd= subtract the numerator as usual
