Because GWB is the worst thing that has happened to this country in its entire history. He and his handlers lied us into a war that has killed hundreds of thousands of civilians, in the process creating far more nutjob Islamic terrorists than there were when it started.
While he wages this dumbest war in human history, Bush *cuts taxes* for his rich friends, spies on U.S. citizens just because he can, tries to dismantle as many social programs and environmental protections as possible, and is socially the most embarrassingly clueless boob that ever was.
He acts like a cartoon cowboy with his "bring it on" nonsense, favoring war over diplomacy, tells the rest of the world that "if you're not with us you're against us" and then wonders why everyone hates our guts.
He thinks creationism should be taught in science classes, stem cells shouldn't be used to cure diseases because he's "pro-life" (while his war kills and maims people every single day) and won't lift a finger except his middle one to do anything about global warming. I guess he thinks his money - which he never earned himself - will somehow protect him from environmental catastrophe.
And this piece of subhuman garbage did it all by *stealing* two elections in a row with that weasely little smirk permanently plastered on his on his simpering mug, as if he were impersonating Alfred E. Neuman on purpose.
He can't speak English any better than some of the supposedly native-speaking slackers right here on Yahoo Answers either. This is only further evidence of his lower than average intelligence, as if we needed any.
GWB's recent comment, "Sometimes (heh heh) money trumps peace" is all anyone needs to know about where this war criminal is coming from. He was referring to the fact that the Bush crime family has been doing business with Saudi Arabia since the end of World War II, and not even the Saudis' sheltering of terrorists will be allowed to interrupt the flow of their oil money.

I believe that ANY sitting President is open to criticism...if not, than I don't feel the United States of America would be a true democracy.
President Bush is our sitting president and for that reason the man deserves RESPECT. You do not have to agree with him or even like him, but do respect him. He is doing what he feels is in the best interest of our country as a whole; although I do believe he is making a huge mistake by not attacking the border problem more aggressively.
As far as the 95% negative responses go, Yahoo! is probably one of the most liberal web sites out there so what do you expect?

If the vote in Congress this week to gives millions of Illegal Aliens amnesty this week or today is a reason, i guess that is why you are recieving negative feedback. Both parties are pandering towards everything the American people don't want. They deserve all the negative comments!

First off, he was not voted in, he was appointed by the Supreme court. By the time the second election came up, he had everyone so darned scared about terrorists attacks here that people were afraid to elect anyone else. And I'm not sure he won that election either. It was odd to me that months before his second term there were terror alerts almost every day, and they abruptly stopped as soon as he took office. He is a liar and a crook and people should be negative about him..When the answers are 100% negative, I will be happy.

I think that many who voted for him have been coming to the gradual realization over the past two years (in particular) of the sheer extent of his incompetence. I think that probably the Katrina debacle was the watershed point at which even many who supported him lost faith.
I've noticed that many Repubs who voted for him in '04 are now categorizing themselves as "independents" and saying things like: "Kerry wouldn't have been any better" (of course they have no way of knowing that) to try and comfort themselves. I think on some level they realize what a disastrous mistake their vote was.

Where did you get your figures? A poll last week showed his ratings were at 76% positive among republicans. Just goes to show if you're a liberal, you'll believe about anything.
