Novi Sad is the capital city of The Autonomy of Vojvodina. It is not very big place but you can see a lot of interesting sights here. Probably the most famous is The tower of Petrovaradin. Novi Sad is not too far from Belgrade, the capital of Serbia. And it is not expensive. They use dinars, but you can menage with euros, too. Here is an example, a cup of coffee in a cafe will cost you not more than 2 euros. Welcome to Serbia, Petra!

Novi Sad is an excellent choice, a beautiful town, good food and accomodation, and more than reasonable prices - compared to the west, and people are very friendly. http://www.gradnovisad.org.yu/
If you are planning a longer visit to Serbia you might consider checking out Belgrade and the south of the country as well.
http://www.country-club-hotel-babe.com/home_en.htm - this place is about 50 km south of Belgrade
My personal choice would be the Tara, the mouthain in the west of serbia, it is basically a national park - magical. http://www.tara.org.yu/indexeng.html

i hope you have a great time

Novi Sad i beautiful. I was there last summer. Although my family is from Belgrade, I wanted to take a trip to Novi Sad to see their architecture and feel their culture. I highly recommend this city. It is breathtaking!
Prices all over Serbia are not bad if you have dollars or euros.

Serbia is small u . s . a ., so i do no longer think of there's a want for one greater worldwide airport. Even the airport in Belgrade would not paintings the way it could. So, we don't desire one greater ungrateful undertaking. there are dissimilar greater substantial issues we ought to consistently think of approximately.
