Distemper/Lepto/Hepatitis/Parvo is all one shot $33
with Corona $37
Rabies $25
Bordetella (kennel cough) $26
Lymes (not a core vaccine, only for pets at risk) $26
*note cost of vaccines include exam at our hospital*
Heartworm Test $35
Heartworm preventative depends on weight and # purchased: up to 25 pounds 6 months $27 12 months $53
26-50 pounds 6 months $36 12 months $70
51-100 pounds 6 months $47 12 months $90
Giardia and coccidia are intestinal parasites found with a fecal check and treated with dewormers. The vaccine does not work very well.
Fecal check $21
dewormers $15-20
Also note not all vaccines need to be boostered each year.
Many vaccines are good for several years and vaccine guidelines have changed to every 3 years for most.

You know, in most cases the majority of those vaccines are not necessary. I would recommend talking to your vet about limiting vaccinations to rabies, distemper and if a puppy, parvo. The heartworm should be a feed through method, not a shot as the shot has been reported as being responsible for some dog deaths.
Remember that you should NOT be giving all the shots at one time. The highest incidents of dogs having serious reactions to shots are those dogs given shots all together. Rabies should always be separate.
I would expect to pay a vet visit (I pay $35) plus the shot and tag which is $12 or so. The distemper is slightly less. There is a low cost clinic in our area that does once a month discount shots and charges only $10 for the whole thing.

First of all, distemper,Lepto,Hep,Parvo, Corona,Giarda, and coccidia are all in one shot. It's a combo and generally runs around $22. Lyme Is around $10. Kennel cough you will only need if you plan on taking your dog to a kennel with other dogs but its about 5-10 dollars. Heartworm prevention is a pill given monthly and is priced according to weight. Smaller the dog, less the price. Starts around $15. goes up to $65. for 3 or 6 month supply. Rabies shots are approx. $15. But remember, if you are getting a puppy they must get a series of shots to build ammunity so your looking at about $50 to $ 70 per visit for atleast 3 visits to start. Your last visit will be rabies. Hope this helps.

Many of those are not necessary, read up on it. Personally my dogs are all indoors and friendly, never run off, so I get them rabies. If you are going to kennel your dog, they will require a few of them.
Most of these shots can be purchased online at petmeds etc. for a lot less than your vet. Rabies is more because here in VA it's mandatory and it must be administered by a vet.
But vets LIVE to give shots. Beause they pay pennies, literally, for them. but to GET them you need to pay often 20 to 60 a shot, plus walking in the door (office visit) costs from 40 to 100 dollars.

depends on where you go, you can go to a farmers delight and buy a 7 in one shot and it only costs between 8 and 9 dollars. Or you can go to the vet and pay over 100 dollars. Or if you wanna just call the vet and ask them about there free shot day where you can go in and get a shot for less than 20dollars... hope this helps..

It's best to call your vet's office and talk to the receptionist. She can tell you.
