Ive just had a Hsg done today. ever since that, ive had diarrhoea. is this normal. I keep thinking to myself maybe my body is flushing out the dye. has this ever happened to anyone else.

I haven't heard of diarrhea being a side effect after an HSG. The contrast is in your uterus, fallopian tubes, and abdominal cavity, not your bowels. Cramping and spotting are normal.

i had an hsg about two weeks ago, and about 3 days after i diaherra. I didn't have it the same day, but I kinda went home and laid down and slept, so I didn't move much either!!

i had one of those when i had a kidney stone. . but i dont remember experiencing that. .i did after i drank castrol oil but thats what was suppose to happen. . it could maybe be left over castrol oil or something, but everyones body acts differently towards thing so im sure it is fine. If it doesnt stop soon i would just call your doctor.

i would call your doctor & ask, i had an hsg test last month w/ only a little cramping/spotting.
