India's 1983 Cricket international Cup victory is the only silver lining in its in any different case oftentimes darkish skies. Blame the BCCI and the money loving cricketers as to why they did no longer steam roll forward after this manner of gorgeous overall performance in 1983.

Some body has to win. If India wins, as an Indian I will of course be happy but will not lose too much sleep if they don't. I am much more universal in my approach now than in 1983.

In 1983 Kapil Dev was the captain of "Team India'. This time we have a very "weak" captain, how we expect repetition of 1983's success?

Hey you will notice that this time pitches will behave differently in world cup, may be slow balers and spinners will get benefited. Cant really predict but SA will not be the one, nor Aus this time, fair chances for India provided India drop Sewag and opens wit Robin and Ganguly. where as one down should be Dravid and 2nd down Sachin. Also they should drop Agarkar in important matches
