There is a hormone called Prolactin that is being produced in large amounts during this time (pregnancy) that could be partially the cause of your condition. Also, in preparing for breastfeeding, your mammary glands are filling with a substance called Colostrum, which could be another reason for the swelling of the nipple area. Overall, not anything to be too worried about.

I don't know, but if figure out a way to cover them and keep them from being really obvious in clothes, I would love to hear it.
I am 18 weeks along, have grown almost two cup sizes already and my nipples have at least doubled in size. I always have been a 'normal sized' woman in the chest, but I seem to be going for a record in breast growth during pregnancy.
So, you are not alone in this boat... :)

mostly common in later pregnancy i think , because its ur nipples gettin ready 2 breast feed because if u have flat nipples its harder 2 breast feed but its normal 2 have ur nipples like that
