As of today I would have to say Sammy Sosa who is tearing it up batting .476 in Spring Training.

I'd look for someone along the lines of Bartolo Colon who had an off year last year, but won the Cy Young the year before. Your picks of Eric Gagne and Morgan Ensberg are very possible as well and I think Gagne can pull it off if he stays healthy. You could also have someone such as Jake Peavy taking that award as well.

If both Sosa and Gagne are in the running for the AL Comeback Player, the Rangers will win the West by ten games. Does anybody see that happening?

Eric Gagne and Sammy Sosa for the AL and

I think Shannon Stewart will win it in the AL. He's one of the most under-rated outfielders in baseball. I bet nobody on here knew he is a career .299 hitter.
In the NL I'm gonna go with Ken Griffey, Jr. This is gonna be the year he finally plays a full season. Last time he did was his first year in Cincy, 2000. He only needs 36 home runs for 600 in his career, and I'll think he do it.

I think Jake Peavy . He has the stuff to win the CY Young in the NL. Aj Burnett is another guy to keep your eye on. Matsui also he may have a huge year after an injury plagued season. Beckett had the wins , but I doubt he will have an era over 5 again. Brad Lidge is another guy who could find himself again. I do agree with you though , if Gange has a great year he will get it. I don't watch AL all that much, but Morgan Ensberg! Yeah baby! Even if he hits .250 and 20 HR's, he will be a major contributor to the Astros' offense. I can't wait! I'd also like to see Jason Lane bounce back. Go 'Stros!

NL - Derek Lee - Look for a healthy Lee to put up big numbers, the Cubs offense is going to be a very good one. It's their pitching that will kill them.
AL - Mike Sweeney - One of the best hitters in baseball when healthy, something he hasn't been in several years. He claims to be healthy, this is a contract year, he needs a big year if he wants big money. The Royals offense should be much better this year.

Derek Lee? Carlos Delgado? Are you kidding me? Yeah, they could be underperformed in fan's eye yet their season is plenty from catastrophe. Jeff Francourer is the respond. He had 3 rapidly a hundred RBI seasons and 2008 replaced into merely depressing for him. If i choose for to wager somebody to have a massively more advantageous season, I wager on him. i'm not sure if he will nevertheless.
