go to www.crucial.com and run the system configurator and it will tell you all the info you need as to how much ram you can install on your computer, and what types.

Your Mainboard (ECS 651) can support DDR 266 and DDR 333 up to 2GB. Try to read on your Mainboard manual, does this mainboard support dual channel or not ?

If this mainboard support dual channel, it's recommended that you supplied 2 sticks of RAM with the same specs. So, if now you already have a 128MB DDR333 RAM installed, you must find another stick of RAM which is 128MB and DDR333 and the total capacity will be 256 MB. If you want more bigger than that, then you have to ditch or trade your 128MB RAM into one pair of RAM (2 sticks the same capacity and specs).

If this mainboard doesn't support dual channel, then it's up to you to find the capacity of the RAM. You can buy a 1 GB RAM and install it then you'll get total RAM is 1 GB + 128 MB.

It can be done cheaply by using Ebay, take out the 128mb piece of RAM, there should be all the info on there, all you have to do is to get at least 512mb(or higher), if you put this stick in the other slotthen you will have 5 times as much, you should be able to pick one up for a maximum of £20 Sterling.

Use the same type and speed, then get a larger capacity RAM.
