Whn I acess this website at home: www.hm.com it always says cannot find server but when i go on it at school it works, why is this? how can i make it work at home?

i know its only a shopping kind of site !! but it may be stopped due to a locking device someone has put on your comp (parental lock) they can be sensitive to certain words or abbreviations ??????

Whats the bet that you have some kind of involvment with www.hm.com and this question is just to get us to make a hit on the site??

The pop-up note saying server can not be found is almost a standard thing that you get whenever & for whatever reason there's something wrong with the site itself not functioning well at that moment, or more likely, that your own connection is malfunctioning or not connected properly. You can also check with your ISP, your Internet service provider.

works fine on my computer, here in Georgia.. generally though, a 'cannot find server' error is a problem with your connection at home.

I just typed it into my address bar, and there it was...

Works fine on mine too, check the settings on your fire wall software it sounds as though yhat may be blocking it.

just restore your internet explorer settings and try again ...maybe it will solve ur prob.

open explorer and click on tools >internet options>advance>
and then press restore defaults and then ok .
close explorer and then try opening site again ,
