1-Because 2 intersecting line have one and only one points that belongs to every two line.
For example: Y=X+2 and Y=2x If you solve these equations together you find the point: (2,4) which belongs to every two line.

2- When you draw the linear equation you find a line.

3- a) m: X=Y n: X=-Y
b) (0 , 0)
c) (0, 0)
d) (0, 0)

4- 2/3<>(k-1)/(2k+1)<>6/9 k<>-5

5- k/12=3/k=(k-3)/k k=6

6- 3/k=2/(k-1)<>6/9 k=3
