Neither of the girls that appeared in either version of the Parent Trap were twins. In the 1998 version, both Hallie and Annie were played by Lindsay Lohan, and in the 1961 version Hayley Mills played both Sharon and Susan.

That was Lindsey Lohan and there was only one. It's amazing what they can do these days with making one actor / actress into two. They also did that with Leonardo DiCaprio in Man in the Iron Mask. And Jet Li in The One.
