The time it took my husband to get his pants down. I fell pregnant in the blink of a wink with all four of my bairns. Birth control or no birth control. You've heard about I in a million chance well I was one of them 4 times over. True believe me.

I wonder what the odds are of that happening.

I,m so very sorry to hear of your plight, Try and stop worrying and let things take it's natural course. Otherwise get someone to send you a fertility token from the indigenous Indians of Canada.

It worked for my next door neighbour after two years of trying. I think she transferred her frustrations onto this little wooden icon of fertility and I suppose it could also happen if you focused on something else as well. How about an image of Johhny Depp under your pillow....not cheating just helping the process along.

With my first child I was on the pill, whoops! But my 2nd child we tried for 5 months then had a 3 month break ( I didnt want a summer babyagain, too hot!) then tried for another 3 months before I got pregnant. Baby number 3 I wanted to be a girl so I researched Dr Sheckles method on ovulation for girls and bought ovulation test kits ( which were GREAT!) and I was pregnant after 3 months. Its all to do with your ovulation times. Good luck and remember to still have fun trying!!!

My ex fiancee and I tried for 9 months with nothing to show for it. My partner now got me pregnant almost before I realized we were seeing each other. I swear all he had to do was look at me and I was pregnant - birth control and everything. Now I have my tubes tied as 3 is enough for me! Good luck and relax. The harder you try, the harder it will become to get pregnant. Get an ovulation test to find out when you are ovulating and keep your attempts close to that time. If he is expending his sperm on a regular basis to try to conceive, that will make it harder as well. Let his armies regroup - that will help tremendously. Take care!

I got pregnant on the pill the first time, so I wasn't trying at all! This time it has been 3 months so far. I am two days late, so keeping my fingers crossed! My hubby will be gone on the ovulation days for the next two months, so if it didn't happen this month, it will be 3 months before there's a possibility. :(

My husband and I were not trying when we got pregant, but we had been off Birth Control only for 1 month (first cycle) when we got pregnant.....

However, I think the stress of trying to conceive may make it hard. My parents had to wait 7 LONG YEARS before they got my sister... and another 2 years for me.

Good Luck! Relax - have you tried some of the ovulation tests out there?

It took me and my partner 2 years to conceive naturally but I have PCOS so it's harder for me.

Hang in there, it will happen. Just try to remember to stay calm and positive and above all don't let it take over your life. I did and it wasn't until I decided to stop trying and give my body and mind a break that I fell (and I mean straight away, I was waiting to take my first pill but my period never came), I think there's some truth in the whole 'when you've lost something stop looking for it and you'll find it straight away' theory.

Good luck.

We have been trying for 13 months now and the last 4 months I have been bbt charting but still hoping that one day it will happen you just have to be patient and not get stressed out about it. I got stressed for the longest time and then the last 2 months I decided to relax and let nature take its course, and hopefully this will be my month.

Good luck to you!

I wasn't trying with my first...oops! But my second took us came along after our first month of trying. Are you doing the deed at the right time of the month? ie, do you know when you're ovulating? You'll get a sticky mucus when you're ovulating, like egg white, and that's when you're most fertile, so you should do the deed on this day, and for the next 5 days (ovulation is 4-7 days, and it starts about 1 or 2 days before you get the mucus). Once you start to chart, you'll be able to predict when you ovulate, so you can then do the deed, two days before you're due to ovulate, and then for the next 5 days, so you've guaranteed yourself conception at the most fertile stage.
