Everyone is getting a little too pc. Racism is rife against white people but no one cares about that (you wouldnt get sacked for calling someone a white boy but bet you wouldnt try saying black boy). Racism in any form is wrong but we are taking the whole thing a bit too far i reckon. Skin colour no longer is the issue instead I feel it is religion that divides many.

Over sensitive - It's no more of a problem - in fact less so than in many other Countries, but the media as always are trying to get something going so they have something to report on - Notice how they report things.... Last week with the Police Officer and the woman being arrested - No mention of the fact he was beating her arm to try to get her to release the grip she had on his nuts - and also, it was an assault on a BLACK woman. If she had been white - A) would it have been reported at all? B) Would the media have specified that it was an assualt on a WHITE woman, or just a woman?? The media have a lot to answer for.

Some tabloids are definitively populist and always play on a dangerous line.... The Sun 1st of them and unfortunately many people only read it and take it for the truth. There is pride to be whoever you are (english, welsh, irish, scottish..... german.... american...) and there if hatrood and refusal of difference.
At the same time, the levels of immigration in Europe and in the Uk have never been so high since.....God knows when.
There is as well the fear to loose some identity (community disappear, new arrive) and clashes can occur (Blackburn)
All in all, it is very hard to say

I think we are over sensitive to it all, and racism has been made far worse since we had the PC brigade telling us what is right and wrong

britian is being torn apart by the pc boys, you no longer have a freedom of speech. if you were to make a derogatory comment to some one of mixed or a different race youre a racist, however it seems being called white boy and honky are perfectly acceptable.
you only have to look at the television farce cbb, shilpa wasnt even aware of the so called racism during her time in there yet as soon as she came out she played it like a piano. jermaine jackson called jades mother white trash was that splashed all over the telly? no.
racism isnt just a one way affair but i believe strongly in one thing if you go to live in a different country you must abide and respect their cultures, its seems england is a little softer in the fact that we allow people to live here and abuse us, however if you retaliate your a racist.
too many people are jumping on the racism band wagon and blowing it all way out of preportion

Definitely over sensitive. I think it is natural that at the moment the spotlight is on the Asian/Muslim community but things always change.

I think its just a matter of time...It seems as though more English are getting annoyed because of the amount of people coming into this country......ruining...drug running...gun crimes...etc..that it will only take one incident....shall we say for instance...by the police to create a riot...and then all hell will break loose.......This country used to be great......"Great Britain"..........But I'm afraid not any longer....

I think we are over sensitive - there are a lot of racist attacks on white people but the papers don't report on these.
