Yes it is all set up. But the moves are not fake. Look how many wrestlers get hurt in the line of duty. Stone Colds broken neck, Shawn Michaels broken back, the many of broken bones, or torn muscles. Even though the whole plot is planned, these guys still hurt themselves.

Yes, it's definitely fake. For years the wrestling community insisted it was a sport until it became financially advantageous to reclassify. Taxes for sporting events are higher than those for entertainment. I've forgotten how many years ago it was, but about 15 to 20 years ago wrestling federations finally decided to come clean and fess up that it was all choreographed so they could take advantage of the differential in tax rates. Think of them as big muscular dancers. The whole thing is planned and executed as a play for entertainment purposes. That means, like dancers, these folks are athletes and can and are injured in the effort to entertain us. Take care.

ppl are lying i have a family member that used to wrestle all that stuff backstage is fake but in the ring there is no predetermined winner no fake moves no none of that. If u think it is fake then tell me: Where do the fighters blood come from?

i train every othereday. but i have lucked out, no bad injurys yet. but it is not fake. the only thing is is that MOST of the results are predetermined. inring techniqe is hard and painful. the WRESTLING part is a very phyisical sport, companys include storylines(thats the "fake" part) to hype the matches and to attract a wider audiounce.

To a point it is. Matches are always scripted with the winner being determined beforehand. A lot of the matches are choreographed. However, if you have a veteran in a match he will "call" the match. That is he will tell the less experienced wrestler what to do during the match.

Wrestling itself is scripted but the moves themselves are very real. It still makes for gr8t entertainment thought.
