I have come to believe that life is about understanding the meaning of love.

I feel that I am here to learn that no response other than a loving response is ever an appropriate response to any situation.

No exceptions.

Life is a journey is the best way that I can describe it. The quality of it is dependent on your personal (as well as other people's) experiences, the values you adapt, the level of knowledge that you seek out and acquire. Your exposure to religion, ethics, morality, culture. The people you associate with, the causes you believe in and fight for, family values, educational exposure, your exposure to the world around you, etc.

The key I think lies in the Prayer of Serenity:

The Serenity Prayer
God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.

Living one day at a time;
Enjoying one moment at a time;
Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace;
Taking, as He did, this sinful world
as it is, not as I would have it;
Trusting that He will make all things right
if I surrender to His Will;
That I may be reasonably happy in this life
and supremely happy with Him
Forever in the next.
Amen.

I would recommend opening yourself up to as many opportunities as you can.

Creating a goal to life is like a dog chasing a car, once you get what you want you wonder "Now what?" So you have to expand or change your goal to keep from being bored or feeling like you aren't doing anything. So maybe, the goal of life is to keep making goals and keep busy while you're here. Welcome to reality, enjoy your stay.

Life is about "having it all". Now how one defines having it all depends on the person, and this is exactly what you should search for during your life. You must visualize and constantly write down your "having it all", for once it is ingrained in your mind, you will subconsciously work to achieve "having it all" without even knowing it.

An example of my having it all if "freedom of choice". I want to be able to have the freedoms during my lifetime to do what I Want whether its spending time with family, taking a vacation when I please, or going to my children's soccer game it is the freedom of choice that can allow me to do this.

It's about making choices that are best for you. No matter what you do, good or bad, right or wrong, no one can live your life for you. You have to pay the consequences for your decisions. Live life to the fullest with no regrets. Remember..If you can't find what your looking for, look inside yourself.

I've been working on this one for years. I've ruled out money, sex, power and excess. I'm thinking it has everything to do with "Love" in the full sense of the word.

Joy.

Joy and happiness can be quite different. Joy is peace of mind, transparency of intention, and the contentment knowing your place in the universe.
