Some friends of mine who have seen it said it was just fantastic.
It is very important to remember that this movie is not a historical telling of the Battle of Thermopylae. It is an adaptation of the comic book 300 by Frank Miller.

The 300 is by far one of the best movies i have seen. They were very creative in the filming angles and animation processes which added to the realism. For little known actors, they did an awsome job, especially the king. If I had to rate this movie on a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being the best, I'd give it a 12.
I would recommend this movie to anyone, except those that have a thing against blood and violence.

It is one of the best movies that has ever been made. Seriously. It's an amazing story that just sucks you in. It is a visual masterpiece. It is exciting and sad and shocking and funny. It is NOT a historical piece that you can learn from for school - - it's not meant to be - it's a story.
Take time to see it - just be aware of some brief nudity and a lot of computer graphic blood.

I've heard nothing but good things about it. But, don't be fooled. There are a lot of historical things in this movie that are not accurate.

WOW is all I can say just plain WOW!! One of the best films I have ever seen. I loved the way it was filmed and the way it was cut. Loved that they used lesser known actors. They stayed away from names. Loved it.
"Our arrows will blot out the sun!"

I thought it was AWESOME. I would go and see it again and going to the movies is not cheap.
