Current rules say you must be disabled for 2 years after you start receiving ssd checks. You must be permanantly disabled to get ssd. So I assume you are under a dr. care and need some sort of medication s, So why are medical benefits held back for those who truly need help?

just because you need medication, doens't mean you are disabled. A large majority of people are on meds of some sort.

Do you have a condition that keeps you from working and participating in other daily activities? Complete disability means you can't hold a job and support yourself.

Have you looked into the prescription assistance program? Just ask your doc or pharmacist or you can look it up online. You can get free meds that way.

Or medicaid?
